In 2004, PepsiCo shelled out $2.3 million to promote the launch of the two new limited edition flavors in United States, Thailand, south east Asia, Guam, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Saipan, and The Philippines: Pepsi Fire, a hot cinnamon spiced soda, and Pepsi Ice, a blue cool minty drink. The idea was to create a "choose your own adventure" approach to grabbing a drink, letting you choose your soda based on your mood, according to Brand Republic. The two sodas were later discontinued after their original limited edition soda run internationally.
Pepsi Fire was later re-released in the summer 2017 of the U.S. in a 8 week period, starting on May 22nd, 2017 until July 17th, 2017. After the 8 week period run. Pepsi Fire was discontinued again in the U.S.
Pepsi Ice wasn't re-released alongside Pepsi Fire in summer 2017.
